Sen. Cory Booker sets record with marathon Senate speech opposing Trump’...

Sen. Cory Booker, a Democrat from New Jersey, demonstrated Democrats' disapproval of President Trump's expansive measures by holding the Senate floor for an all-night and Tuesday evening address.

On Monday night, Booker stood on the Senate floor and declared that he would stay there for as long as he was "physically able." The 55-year-old senator, a former football tight end, was visibly worn out but continued to work more than twenty-four hours later. As Democrats attempt to reassure their irate fans that they are doing everything in their power to oppose Trump's agenda, it was an incredible display of endurance, one of the longest in Senate history.
