Derek Chauvin, a 44 year old police officer, was arrested and charged with third-degree murder and manslaughter for his involvement with the death of George Floyd. Chauvin can be seen with his knee on George Floyd's neck in a video while Floyd pleaded for his life telling the officer that he could not breathe. George Floyd eventually died during the incident.
